The Greens in the Mountains

Travis and Lauren Green were married in the mountains of Stowe, Vermont at Stowe Mountain Resort on September 2, 2023.

Lauren and Travis’s love story is steeped in tradition with simple elegance. Her father is a man who commands a room, yet no different than Travis on an average day. Lauren surrounded herself with her closest friends, and yet they both asked just their sibling to stand beside them during their ceremony when they professed their love and devotion to each other on the patio of the Lodge. Travis’s best friend and grandfather was the guest of honor, and the connection between the two of them was as bright as the afternoon sun that late summer day.

It was quite a pleasure to see the growing bonds between Lauren and Travis’s daughter that afternoon, especially from the lens of a step-parent. That relationship is unique to blended families and one both Mike and I have embraced with eager optimism, humility, and grace. Simple connections like this remind us that Love Wins when it’s given the space to grow.
